What £2.8 Million in Travel Bookings Actually Looks Like

When people ask whether building a travel business really works, it's usually followed by a version of the same question: does it actually happen for normal people, or just the ones who already had an audience or head start?
It's a fair question. So instead of answering it in theory, I want to answer it with what's actually happened this year....

So far in 2026, the agents inside my community have booked over £2.8 million in travel.
In July alone, it was £382,261 and that's only the bookings that have been shared with us, so the real figure is higher.
Is That Figure Realistic, or Just a Headline Number?
Short answer: it's real and it's built from a lot of individual, ordinary results... not one big outlier skewing the average.
This month alone:
Our top agent for July, Kirsty, booked £32,300
Over 30 new agents joined the community
Dozens more booked anywhere from a few hundred pounds to several thousand
Some of those numbers are big. Some are small. That's the point... this isn't a 'everyone becomes a top earner overnight' story. It's a wide spread of people, at different stages, building at their own pace.

Who Is Actually Behind These Numbers?
This is the part people are often most surprised by. The agents booking these figures aren't travel industry veterans.
They're:
Parents looking for more flexibility
People working full-time who wanted something of their own
Career changers starting completely from scratch
Travel enthusiasts turning something they loved into an income
None of them started with travel experience. All of them started with the same thing... a willingness to learn.
Albina Kodrasi is a good example. She spent nine years working in accounting before becoming a mum and stepping away from her career. Travel helped her rediscover a sense of identity outside of that.
She joined the Academy in December 2023, and since then has:
Booked over £100,000 in travel
Saved more than £10,000 on her own family holidays
Become a coach inside the community, having personally introduced 7 people to start their own travel businesses
That's not a cherry-picked exception. It's fairly representative of how most people in this space get started, build a travel business and make it a success.
Why Share the Numbers?
Because numbers are more honest than promises.
Anyone can say a business model works. It's harder to argue with £2.8 million booked in 7 months, by real people, most of whom had zero industry background twelve months ago.
This isn't about quick money and it never has been. It's steady, consistent work, learning, having conversations, booking trips... built by people fitting it around the life they already have.
